The items in this Berlin backyard are permanently rearranged by the children living in the neighborhood.
The stones have been thrown to the ground in an effort to try and «break» them.

These clothes have been offered mother in the late 1970ies, then living in East-Berlin, by her aunt, then working for the Red Cross in Bavaria, who was originally from the eastern part of Germany, too. She moved to West-Germany, leaving her daughter behind, who did later flee by swimming through the Werra river. The clothes have travelled via a third person whom my aunt met briefly during World War II and who could cross the border freely because of her age.
